Directions from North Jersey

  • NJ Turnpike South to Exit 9 (New Brunswick) and bear right after toll booth.
  • Take Route 18 North to Route 1 South. Stay on Route 1 for approximately 20 miles, pass Princeton and the Quakerbridge Mall. Approximately one mile past I-95 intersection, bear left to stay on Route 1.
  • Go approximately 5 miles and take exit marked “Capital Complex, Last Exit Before Toll”.
  • Turn right at light at the end of the off ramp.
  • Turn left at next light (Market Street).
  • Stay in left lane to enter Route 29 North.
  • Go approximately ¾ mile and take the Calhoun Street exit, following the Memorial Drive exit.
  • Make a right at first light onto West State Street. The office is on the left, across from the State House.
  • There is parking on the street and in the rear.

Directions from South Jersey

  • Take 295 North to 129/Trenton exit.
  • Take ramp, bearing left onto Route 129.
  • Take 129 to the split for Route 29 and follow signs (red) and bear left to take the Tunnel.
  • Pass the cemetery (on right side) and go through the Tunnel. Pass Waterfront Park and continue through two lights.
  • After the second light (Cooper’s Riverview), travel Route 29 North for approximately one mile to the Calhoun Street exit, following the Memorial Drive exit.
  • Take the Calhoun Street exit.
  • Make a right at first light onto West State Street. The office is on the left, across from the State House.
  • There is parking on the street and in the rear.

Alternate Route

  • NJ Turnpike To Exit 7A
  • Take 195 West to Trenton.
  • Follow 195 West, which becomes 129.
  • Take 129 to the split for Route 29 and follow signs (red) and bear left to take the Tunnel.
  • Pass the cemetery (on right side) and go through the Tunnel. Pass Waterfront Park and continue through two lights.
  • After the second light (Cooper’s Riverview), travel Route 29 North for approximately one mile to the Calhoun Street exit, following the Memorial Drive exit.
  • Take the Calhoun Street exit.
  • Make a right at first light onto West State Street. The office is on the left, across from the State House.
  • There is parking on the street and in the rear.

Parking

We recommend that all cars park in our secure and monitored parking area, directly behind our offices at 150 West State Street.

By way of the instructions above, once you are on West State Street, look for a small alleyway, Taylor Place. (This alleyway is directly across the street from the Annex.) Turn onto Taylor Place and proceed to the stop sign. Turn right onto Capitol Street. Our large parking area is located at the corner of Capitol Street and Taylor Place. The building number, 150 West State Street, is also located on the back on the building and will be visible from the parking lot. (see diagram below)

After parking, please proceed to the back entrance of 150 West State Street. The security guard will ask you to check in upon entering the building. After checking in, proceed down the hallway towards the elevators. Take the elevator to the 1st Floor. Upon exiting the elevator, turn right and proceed through the glass paned wooden doors. Our office will be on your right.

If you prefer, there is also metered, on-street parking along West State Street.

Meeting Locations

State House Café: Access the State House Café by way of the Annex. Upon entering the Annex, you will be asked to go through security and to sign in with the State Police. Proceed to the basement by means of the elevator (directly behind security). Upon arriving to the basement, make a left out of the elevator hall and then make your first right down a long corridor. The corridor will lead you to the State House Café.
